It
is interesting to know that deaf competition has been going on in the world for
close to 2 decades now without Nigeria Participation, a development that can no
longer be tolerated.

MISS DEAF INTERNATIONAL HISTORIC VISIT
Believing that capturing Nigeria means capturing Africa, the
CEO of MMDI[Miss & Mr Deaf International] contacted Mrs. Tolulope Oko-Igaire
if she will be willing to host the reigning queen Ms Cassandra whyte in Nigeria
to spread the awareness that a deaf person can do all things, except hear, and
encourage people living with disability.
Not sure of where the finances will come, Mrs Oko-Igaire
accepted the offer and on the 21st of May 2012. Miss Cassandra Whyte,
a Jamaican and the then reigning queen who won Miss Deaf International in
Florida America among deaf girls from about 38 other countries around the world
came into Nigeria.
PET PROJECT [VOCATIONAL CENTER FOR THE DEAF]
A vocational school for
the deaf is the projected pet project for Most Beautiful Deaf Girl in Nigeria.
Every reigning queen/king will key into this and become the face of the pet
project for one year, the center will offer training on the following;
1.
Hair dressing
2.
Fashion designing
3.
Makeup artistry
4.
Nail technician
5.
Photography and video coverage
6.
Graphics
7.
Art work
8.
Counseling etc
MBDGN/MMDN ENTRY FORM

A contestant must be at least eighteen (18)
years old at the time of his/her first appearance at the Miss Deaf Nigeria
Competition, and be not older than thirty (30) years old. N5000.00 application fee is required for this
application to be considered.
The contestants must submit the following with
the form latest by September 30th:
1. Entry form
2. Birth Certificate
3. An audio gram
4. Two professional photographs (see below)
5. Biography
6. Entry fee of N5000.00
THE ROLE OF THE QUEEN/KING
The role of Miss & Mr Deaf
Nigeria required genuine dedication as he/she will not only travel to meet with
important leaders, but embody educational, social, and intellectual value of
men and women everywhere. This challenging role is befitting to a man/woman of
great poise, grace intellect and strength.
