It
is interesting to know that deaf competition has been going on in the world for
close to 2 decades now without Nigeria Participation, a development that can no
longer be tolerated.
As
a first step, we have contracted the organizers of Miss & Mr Deaf World and
Miss & Mr Deaf international pageant and they are excited to welcome
Nigeria representative in the next international pageant.
Subsequently,
winners of Miss & Mr Deaf Nigeria represents Nigeria every other year in Miss
& Mr Deaf World, first runner up in Miss & Mr Deaf International and
second runner up in Miss & Mr Deaf Africa. We are optimistic that Nigeria
can bring the crown of these international pageants home, an achievement that will help motivate
and encourage the deaf community at the same time improve the life of the
participants.
